Mr. Sandlin’s practice focuses primarily on real estate and personal injury law. His specialties include residential and commercial real estate transactions, including closings and lease negotiation, title curative work and personal injury/wrongful death litigation. With a background in finance and real estate lending, Mr. Sandlin is uniquely qualified to assist clients in real estate closings having had experience on both the lending and legal sides of the transaction. In addition, Mr. Sandlin devotes a portion of his practice to estate planning including drafting Wills, Trusts, and other estate planning documents.
Mr. Sandlin was born in Atlanta’s Northside hospital and was raised in Coweta County. After graduating from the University of Georgia, Mr. Sandlin worked in real estate lending as a loan officer before returning to school to pursue his law degree. He obtained a job out of law school as an associate attorney with a law firm in Newnan, Georgia. As an associate attorney, Mr. Sandlin was involved with a wide range of litigation areas including personal injury law. He assisted in multiple personal injury cases ranging from slip and fall to auto accidents. In those cases, Mr. Sandlin helped obtain settlements in lawsuits for clients, the largest of which settled for more than 2 Million dollars. Ultimately, Mr. Sandlin left that firm to pursue his real estate law practice. He joined Sanders, Haugen, & Sears in June of 2016 and now heads the firm’s real estate department for its LaGrange office.
Mr. Sandlin lives in Coweta County with his wife, son and two dogs.
